PDFAnno - Web-based PDF annotation tool

Since PDF is basically not editable, it becomes a means of annotation and comment when you want to point out something. MacOS standard preview has a function to annotate PDF, and many functions have such functions.

The open source software to introduce this time is PDF Anno, web based PDF annotation software.

How to use PDFAnno

It is the main screen.

Select a character and annotate it.

The commented letters are displayed in red.

It will be highlighted when selected.

Other lines can also be drawn.

A list of annotations can be taken.

You can also link between annotations.

Explanation between annotations such as reference and link is possible.

With PDFAnno you can annotate any PDF. If you store data on the server side, you can share data with more than one person. Since we can also associate annotations, it seems that it can be used for other uses than just comments.

PDFAnno is open source software (MIT License) made by HTML5 / JavaScript.
