The data is not used as it is, it is sometimes encrypted, it is used after converting the format such as compression. There are many tools for that, but it is common that each one is independent.
CyberChef introduced this time is software that provides such conversion tools collectively.
How to use CyberChef
It is a demonstration. Processing is lined on the left side. Base64, Hex, encoding, decoding, encryption, and so on.
When you drop them onto the middle pane, the conversion is applied to the input characters.
As a characteristic of CyberChef, you will be providing a variety of types to convert, as well as reversible transformations. It should be possible to (basically) reconstruct the character string after conversion. Let's use it if you have trouble translating this hand.
