Reddit is one of the old community sites. I am also favored by geeks who helped with simple designs. The user layer is completely different for each category, and it looks like 2channels.

Raddit posts a link like Reddit and posts comments there. Moreover, there is a mechanism to evaluate with plus and minus, and it can be enjoyed by social.
Raddit is PHP open source software (zlib / libpng License).
