Pen - WYSIWYG Markdown editor

I like the service called Dropbox Paper recently. It is particularly convenient to edit to WYSIWYG with markdown style notation. But it is a big problem that you can not use it offline, and it will be convenient to solve this problem.

So I'm looking for a WYSIWYG Markdown editor, but I met Pen in that.

How to use Pen

In Pen, when you select a character, you can display a tool tip and decorate it.


Quotes and lists are recognized on the spot by entering symbols.


Here is an example of writing a code.


It can also be markdown display.


Since Pen is WYSIWYG, it is an advantage that looks and results are easy to check. However, as Markdown, there is somewhat unsatisfactory in that it does not correspond to the input of the table tag, and the image only has to specify it by the URL.

Pen is open source software (MIT License) made by HTML5 / JavaScript.
